@OxenFlow even unwraps funds to handle gas when the user is running low. Out of sight, out of mind. It is still possible to be caught in a case where you need FLR for gas, but unlikely.
Auto delegation + opt in auto claim + auto unwrap whenever sending to another address. The user really doesn’t even need to have knowledge of WFLR. Ideally, we continue to abstract these complexities away from the user.

Issue identified and remedied.
TLDR; there was a known bug for which an upgrade was already planned. Conditions forced an early upgrade. Cumulative weight increasing most likely means more network participants. The network outgrew the original parameters. All in all, a well handled outage with a clear reason.
