We are only able to offer this funded studentship to students who are eligible for home fee rate. Deadline for applications: 12:00 on Friday 28th June 2024. (6/7).

We welcome applications from students who hold, or are on target to achieve a first- class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in a relevant academic subject (BBSRC eligibility criteria apply) (5/7).

You will participate fully in the 4-year training programme and will undertake exploratory projects in two research groups before committing to a 3-year research project under the primary supervision of a researcher at @Pirbright_Inst , with co-supervision @UniofOxford (4/7).

Candidates for Pirbright studentships should apply directly to the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP and state in their application that they wish to be considered for a Pirbright studentship (3/7).

This studentship may be of particular interest to students with interests in areas such as virology, immunology, pathogen evolution, diagnostics, vaccines and animal health and welfare (2/7).

Candidates are invited to apply for a fully-funded 4 year DPhil (PhD) position in the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) to undertake research under the joint supervision of academics at @Pirbright_Inst and @UniofOxford (1/7).
