At the AAC football media day today, Coach Keeler talked about his running backs as the primary strength of his team. In particular, transfer Jay Ducker and returning senior Terrez Worthy.

Three Temple football players have been picked up as undrafted free agents: Kicker Maddux Trujillo & defensive end Diwun Black were signed by the Colts & Ravens, respectively. Wide receiver Dante Wright was invited to participate in rookie camp for the KC Chiefs.

At the end of the third quarter, resilient defense keeps this game locked at 6 - 3, team cherry. The passing game has yet to open up.

The first half of Temple Football’s spring game was dominated by the run game. Joquez Smith and Jay Ducker have seen a fair amount of carries. The defense has kept the game close, holding team Cherry to two field goals and team White to one field goal to end the half. 6-3 Cherry.

Towards the end of the first quarter, it’s been the defense that has stood out for both sides. There has already been two forced punts, with a field goal from Dante Atton being the only points put up.
