*Thread* It is GAMEDAY for the Pacers against the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semis. The rivalry between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks has produced many memorable moments over the years. Here's a thread of some of those moments:
Andrew Nembhard in his past 3 games:
- 18.7 PPG
- 7.7 APG
- 62.5% FG%
- 3 TO per game
small sample size, but with nembhard getting healthy, we’ve seen him become a perfect complement to the pacers offense and has been giving us much needed defensive intensity. great stuff.
A reporter sends a “🫶” at Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark: "I do that at my family after every game.”
Reporter: "Start doing it to me and we'll get along just fine."

welcome to a MONUMENTAL day in the history of indiana sports❗️
today we get to see not only the debut of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA, but also the first time the Pacers have had the opportunity to take control of an ECSF since 2014🫣
enjoy today, you’re witnessing history.
In a game where no one can get any momentum, two days after Jarace Walker had two straight 3’s to bring us momentum, he is going to record a DNP. At this point in the year, this should be seen as unacceptable.
i made an effort to not watch the pacers game tonight to test the curse and we win our first b2b away game of the year. (0-8 prior)
the curse is real. we can utilize it.
I will be attendance today for the pacer game at gainbridge fieldhouse.
here’s what this means if you are new here:
- i am 1-9 in my last ten games attended at gainbridge
- i am 0-5 in my last 5 attended
- we’re screwed.
i will not be in attendance for the game tonight and i will not be able to watch, expect a win tonight and haliburton to return to superstar form. go pacers!
THIRD STAR Bennedict Mathurin Tonight:
- 24 Points
- 7 Boards
- 9-14 Shooting
- 60% 3PT
- Really really impressive defense
I’ve been hard on him, but wow what a way to step up in a game where he was absolutely needed.
The Pacers are attempting 31.0 wide open shots per game in the playoffs.
The gap between IND and the 2nd most wide-open FGA/g among remaining teams (OKC—21.6) is greater than the gap between 2nd & last (BOS—14.4)
Pacers offense generating an OUTRAGEOUS amount of wide open looks
i do NOT plan on ATTENDING the game tonight.
what this means for the Pacers:
-Haliburton plays like an actual human
-better officiating
-a win.
#boombaby
no matter the result of this series, i feel the indiana pacers community has gotten more enamored by the team than any iteration in the last DECADE.
this is why i say we are in a golden era of pacers basketball.
it absolutely feels like this game can be stolen, they are figuring us out but we are sort of hitting our shots.
rebounding has been fucking phenomenal and i don’t have any particular issues with the defense yet.
good news: what i have is not life threatening and i will be okay, i appreciate the well wishes so much.🫶
bad news: i am home just in time to watch my beloved indiana pacers.
i will not be in attendance for the game tonight and i will not be able to watch, expect a win tonight and haliburton to return to superstar form. go pacers!
no better way to start the morning than going 80-100 from three.
i decided to pick basketball back up after at least 2 years of not playing when my depression got pretty bad and since then i have seen my mental health skyrocket.
not everyone’s path is the same but if you are
i’ve seen time and time again people of other fanbases calling the pacers fanbase the smallest and least interactive on NBA twitter so i ask this question:
What can we do to better show our presence in the NBA twitter community?
had a few unfollows after this, it made my day honestly😹
if people being comfortable in their own skin bothers you, please unfollow. i do not want you here.
1995: Miller's 8 points in 8.9 seconds - In Game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Reggie Miller scored 8 points in 8.9 seconds to lead the Pacers to a stunning victory over the Knicks. (Reggie Miller is ridiculous.)
Reminisce here:
game 2 is TONIGHT‼️
what to expect tonight from the game:
-the pacers will not shy from the 3 despite struggle (they shot 20% last game, do not expect it to continue)
-lillard will likely be trapped early/late tonight. (if he’s hot again, we lose.)
-a pacers win.
go pacers‼️
so glad we were able to get a space going tonight, i love you all and that is one of the things that i feel connects this fanbase more than anything.
you guys are what makes this fanbase so beautiful to be a part of.
tough loss but Gold Dont Quit.
1994: Miller's 25 4th quarter points - In Game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals, Reggie Miller scored 25 points in the fourth quarter, one of the greatest playoff performances of all time. (Genuinely the craziest clutch moments I've ever looked at)

if you even bothered to look into gender transition documents and the process she had to take to get the gender switched on the identification, then you would realize it is completely valid and usable! thats not an opinion, that is fact.
