We're having some work done to replace the farmyard ramp this week.⛔️The downstairs door to the farmyard will be out of use. 🚻To access our loos, use café entrance then stairs/lift. 🐭Our shop/small animals are open via the shop door. We apologise for any inconvenience. Thanks!

Big spot for Wild Ouseburn @WildIntrigue! 👀We observed an animal we *think* has never been seen in the Ouseburn area! This alligator came onto land from the burn in search of food. Thankfully our sheep were too quick. Keep your eyes peeled, and keep an eye on your kids! 🐊

Meet Tim, who has volunteered here for 7 years! His fave animals, if he *had* to choose, are Willow & the ducks. Tim enjoys working with our staff and thinks Volunteer Coordinator Sarah is very supportive, ensuring volunteers get the most out of their time with us. Thanks Tim!⭐️

Lamb Feeding events for the Easter Holidays are live! We have dawn feeds, twilight feeds, family and adult only sessions available. Lamb feeding is suitable for children to do on their own if they are age five+. Each child attending needs their own ticket:

New baby rabbit alert! 🐰 Yes, these might look fully grown but actually they are nine week old Giant French Lops, so they are indeed babies. They have been preventing us from getting much done in the office. They look forward to meeting you soon when you come to visit!

We are pleased to share that we recently rehomed 5 ex commercial egg laying hens from the fantastic @FSFH_Official. A few of them are still quite nervous and look a little bald as their feathers slowly grow back in, but they are gradually settling in. Come visit them next week!

We were very sad to lose Bruce, our lovely Bearded Dragon recently, after a short illness. We also learned whilst they were at the vets that he was actually a she! Bruce enjoyed a bath, eating crickets, and was an excellent poser for photos & drawings. We will miss her 💜🐾
