Just saying, this seems like a much less severe punishment for a MUCH worse act of academic fraud than Syracuse got when Fab Melo got some extra help writing papers - as an ESL student, no less.
News from the NCAA: Memphis is hit with two-year probation + fine for academic fraud. An academic counselor paid softball players to do coursework and/or provide test/quiz answers for men's basketball players. A 10-year show cause for the counselor:
