'You Wanna Make a Mess with Me' is the closest I've gotten to just. getting straight to it. 'Halfway Open' started as just smut and then I ended up writing a 5k word intro conversation about trauma. now I'm continuing beyond a one-shot as psychological trauma-healing smut lol.

Sometimes I just want to write smut and nothing else, but it's like I'm allergic to posting anything without some kind of lead-in or subplot, and then it gets out of hand. I have a couple pieces of filth on my hard drive that will never see the light of day purely bc I'm too lazy.

Chapter 3 of Halfway Open is halfway done, lol. I think I just needed a smaller, fun project to pull me back. Finishing this story actually feels doable.
