Revealing the character of our latest vintage: #Ornellaia 2020 is "La Proporzione" (Proportion), a perfect balance between parts and the whole. American conceptual artist Joseph Kosuth interprets this character for the 15th annual Ornellaia Vendemmia d'Artista.

At #Ornellaia we have 2000 ancient olive trees growing side by side with the vines. We've dedicated these first weeks of October to picking the Tuscan varieties of olives from which we make our own extra virgin olive oil, carrying on local tradition and encouraging biodiversity.

We've almost completed pumping over of the musts; this technique helps extract anthocyanins and tannins, providing greater complexity and structure to the finished wine. In addition, proper oxygenation is required to encourage complete fermentation. #Ornellaia #PumpingOver
