Oregon public health officials confirmed 23 cases of measles in children in Clackamas, Marion & Multnomah counties, all among unvaccinated individuals. > Kids younger than 10: 12 cases > Kids 10 to 19: 11 cases It’s the largest measles outbreak the state has seen since 2019.

For the first time, a U.S. Surgeon General has declared firearm violence a public health crisis. Gun violence is now the leading cause of death in the U.S. among kids & teens. The AAP advises families who own guns to keep them locked & unloaded with ammunition locked separately.
