@Optimistic24228 US army is balls deep inside Colombia and will take 30 mins to turn it into another Ecuador. Meanwhile he is sanctioned by the US, can't withdraw money from his bank and his admin still wants to fly planes to VZ despite all that. Actions matter

@Optimistic24228 I laugh at Petro all the time but that fucker is from Colombia. 5 mins of reading about CO will tell you why he flip flops & talks that way. Its a miracle he is alive. Iits a miracle that regardless of how flawed, he has managed to build a left sympathetic base in that country

@Optimistic24228 The amt of investment in troops, think tanks & politicians the US has made in LatAm, it is very difficult to survive against that. I have many tactical critiques of pink tide but at the end of the day, any country there (except Cuba, VZ & Nicaragua) can become Ecuador overnight

The smart ones will use it to their advantage. I mean literally engineers and scientists were using it for years already in R&D specific projects but when the Chatbots dropped for individual use, the workflow integration accelerated since chatgpt was released.

@Optimistic24228 Or flip a small city that is a key supply chain hub but with less money pumped into their elections.

@Optimistic24228 It's really the waste of resources that triggers me. Its the lack of understanding of supply chains that triggers me. Like, spending money on a big city mayor when they probably could have spent that to get 10 councillors with much better politics elected.

Reactionaries will obviously get wins man lol they literally rule most nations. The goal is to win in the long run and play the long game. Losses will happen. Only people who don't participate over scrutinize because they will never engage in the struggle fr

Like in a boxing match with a tough opponent sometimes you have to concede some rounds in order to win the match. You can't win every round man.

https://t.co/KW8Vcdl8Ov Just for folks to understand it I'm not against having to make concessions. Ijs its not a black and white scenario but the ultimate goal is to yes repress reactionary forces.

To be fair many of em not in position to do so. My issue is with leftist losers who say its not viable at all but making tactical concessions matters. Repression without logistics on your side is also not smart. Its not black and white sometimes you have to weather the storm.

The biggest mistake of the Latin American leftist movement is its insistence on appeasing the reactionary forces (working with the opposition forces) rather than outright repression and weakening of the reactionary forces.

Whats that? Appealing to liberal ideology by using liberal usage of "dictator" won't keep right wing forces from winning and screwing you over? Well looks like you better adopt those "dictatorship" tactics. I believe Marx said dictatorship of the proletariat for a reason.

Color me shocked how Maduro and PSUV who have overwhelming military support along with mass support can remain in power through trying times. Wow Chavez military background was beneficial? Truly baffling outcome I tell ya.

Even more hilarious are the LARPers who believe "radical" politics will make them competent guerrillas and militants and not actual military theory, strategy, training, and logistics. Unserious people get bad results don't even know why they act surprised when the bad happens

Most of em don't have the military apparatus to push what they need to. Thats why I laugh at people who try to diss socialist/communist/anti-imperialist leaders involved or from military backgrounds. Those leaders serious about maintaining power. These liberal losers aren't

Very common among the Latin American left who get in power is that they fail to create safeguards against future reactionary power. In the end, whatever progress they made has almost always been overturned by the plunderers.

Arguing about voting either for or against is a waste of time & virtue signaling. What is correct tho is abstaining politically is idealism. In order to change the game you gotta play the game bro. Thats the rules, you change it once you win. "Radical" posturing isn't politics
