CarMax and $CVNA would rather keep trying to get repayment vs repossessing cars. I imagine repossessing so many cars at once would flood the car market and result in lower prices overall at their dealerships.

From this article I'm reading on $KMX CarMax... "Repossessions are staying unusually low: Even as delinquencies climb, CarMax repos remain near 0.2%, while Carvana’s lenders are pushing even harder to keep loans alive via payment extensions."
