Some of you may recall that we briefly left social media in 2021, only to return with unfinished business. This will not happen again because we have accomplished everything we set out to do with the page. 9/13.

Sure, we could easily keep the page operating with half the effort, but we refuse to stick around if we are not striving to be the best film page on this platform. It's all or nothing for us, and while some may find it difficult to understand, we can't do it any other way. 8/13.

After nearly a decade of doing this, we have nothing more to offer, and rather than spending more years trying to come up with new ideas and making an effort to stay relevant, we would rather dedicate our time and energy to other projects outside of social media. 7/13.

However, as much as we are proud of the page and community, Only Film Media must come to an end. 6/13.

Although we never achieved the same level of success as some film accounts or publications, we are proud to have built a positive community and never resorting to negativity to go viral. 5/13.

Over the years, our content has led to interactions with some of Hollywood's biggest stars, but most importantly, we developed a community of what we consider to be the most friendly and passionate movie enthusiasts on Twitter (X). 4/13.

Although these kind of tweets can now be found on the majority of pop culture pages, when we first started, we were different from most film-themed accounts that were simply providing links to their website or reviews. 3/13.

Only Film Media was launched in 2015, at a time when clickbait was at an all-time high, and we quickly grew a following by posting film anniversaries, countdowns to forthcoming films, interesting facts, notable birthdays and other information on an hourly basis. 2/13.
