In my lifetime, people have always argued different points of view. This, I think, is healthy. Where the evil seeps in is not the different opinions, but the dishonest denial of plain obvious facts. The argument then isn't opinion/opinion, it becomes opinion/dogma.

Is "Reason" the process of logically forming opinions and conclusions according to the availability facts?. Then what is the word for: "avoiding all facts that do not align with a preferred opinion?".Or."Forming conclusions illogically?".
