As I'm sure most of you that follow me know, I ADORE Monster Hunter but Wilds has some major issues that need to be discussed. And I've yet to hear what I feel is the true reason Wilds is failing as a MH game. Please check out my video on the topic:

Two things can be true:.1. A remake SHOULD fix issues like lower/unstable FPS and while it's disappointing. 2. You can still be very excited to play the product because the base game is that good. I'm tired of people being so black and white about these things. It's nuanced!.

It's crazy to me that people who played Final Fantasy X do NOT understand that Spira, being under the oppression of the church and Sin for so long, would want to celebrate after that passed. Yuna wanted to just be free of the past that shackled her and simply HAVE FUN in X-2.

I really like that Kojiro, or Sasaki Ganryu is in Onimusha Way of the Sword and could be an interesting character if done right. It's interesting that Capcom chose to go for the lunatic rival trope but I hope there's more depth than this. If not, we at least get cool duels. (5/5)

In the manga, Kojiro is portrayed as a young man who truly finds fun in the art of battle, almost with a child-like glee, which contrasts Musashi's desire to be the strongest. Though, sadly the manga is on hiatus and we may never see them reach their duel. (4/5)

I know the history between the two warriors because I read Vagabond, the manga series by Takehiko Inoue, which focuses on Musashi becoming the master swordsman of legend but running a parallel story with Kojiro (who is portrayed as deaf) that is building up to their duel. (3/5)

Sasaki Kojiro, sometimes referred to as Sasaki Ganryu or even Ganryu Kojiro, was a famous Japanese swordsman who founded a school of swordsmanship during the Edo era, but he's mostly known for his duel against Miyamoto Musashi, where he would lose his life. (2/5)

One really cool thing about Capcom choosing Musashi as the protagonist of Onimusha Way of the Sword is that we also get an antagonist in Sasaki Ganryu. But if you're familiar with the story of Musashi you might know him as the legendary Sasaki KOJIRO. A short thread: (1/5)

I'm ALMOST positive this is Lisa Trevor in Resident Evil Requiem. Listen to her scream/sounds! This is super hype for me, Resident Evil 1 Remake is one of my favorite games of all time.

Seeing all the negativity around Omega from Final Fantasy XIV in Monster Hunter Wilds makes me happy that I love both franchises.
