Might be a hot take but TCGL desperately needs monetization so that TPCi has an incentive to make it functional
Clear-cut evidence that Pokemon haven't and won't dedicate the resources needed to have PTCGL fully functioning. Simple as that.

I miss when specialty sets were tiny fun sets. I know we have to get these cards somehow and the alternative is massively bloated main sets but it still kinda sucks

tbh I hate how some pokemon just don’t get cards after their generation. We’ve seen it with Ultra beasts, Silvally, Urshifu, and Calyrex and the horses. I assume paradox pokemon and maybe ogerpon will meet the same fate
