Yesterday's session was immense.

To get a better understand of plotting shots, I worked on a project to visualise all the shots and goals scored in the competition by Esther Gonzalez, the competition's top scorer and Michelle Agyemang, the young player of the tournament.

I proceeded on to passing networks to get the average position and pattern of play of the two teams. I was able to do this using the help of @mplsoccer_dev documentation, while also understanding the position_id as defined by @Statsbomb in the event documentation.

The English player played more like a RB/RWB, always looking to advance the ball forward, she also shuffled the with the backline.

I worked on extracting specific matches from any competition of my choosing for practice and projects, specifically using @Statsbomb open data. Moved on to working with @mplsoccer_dev, to call the data and also how to plot pitches: full horizontal and half vertical pitches.

Over the past fortnight, I was introduced to football data, the various types of data in football, such as event data, player data, amongst others, where to get these various data for practice and enterprise uses.
