It's 15 years ago since the inception of On Course Foundation. 🎂. Over 1,000 beneficiaries have participated in our confidence building golf activities, with over 100 placed in paid employment. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this incredible journey so far. 🙌

It's been another busy couple of weeks for OCF, including a return to the stunning @PortstewartGC in Northern Ireland. It's been great to see the programme continue to grow here since starting up three years ago, with 35 beneficiaries now based here. Onwards and upwards. 💪

We returned to North Wales this week to deliver one of our 2-day Golf Skills and Employment Courses at Abergele Golf Club, funded by @TNLComFundWales. Here, OCF Coach Dai is working with beneficiary Steve - assessing, recording, discussing and then putting this into practice.

Last week, some of our beneficiaries joined personnel on recovery duty from the Scotland and Northern Ireland Personnel Recovery Centre for a 2-day Introductory Golf Event @melvillegc. A huge thanks to @ThePGA Professionals Alan Reid and John Murray for their tuition. 🤝

All roads lead to @RoyalStGeorges, as 40 beneficiaries competed in the first stage of @SimpsonCupGB qualifying at the Forest of Arden yesterday. Congratulations and good luck to the 12 who qualified for the finals @LondonGolfClub in August.

Something a bit different this week as we hosted an OCF 'Awareness Day' at the magnificent @WoburnGC. OCF beneficiaries joined representatives from golf clubs throughout the UK, including managers, committee members and vice-captains - sharing their recovery through golf story.

This week, our beneficiaries visited @dukesgolf for a 2-day Employment Insight, focusing on greenkeeping, golf operations and caddying. This included meeting up with @CaddieSchoolVet, and it was great to see the synergy of both organisations, with veterans helping veterans. 🙌

It was great to meet veterans undergoing treatment @CombatStress at @PacheshamGolf last week. They took part in one of our 'taster' sessions, introducing them to golf and the opportunities available through continued involvement with OCF.

We are absolutely thrilled to have received funding from @WeAreInvictus to deliver another Golf Skills Training Week for the international wounded, injured and sick veteran community. The 2024 version was inspirational and we can't wait to meet the next cohort in October. ❤️.
