5/ The next step is our launch on ICON. We are going to release ONS on ICON mainnet next week. Stay tuned for further updates on our ICON launch and ongoing cross-chain development.

4/ This is followed by a 30-day claim period, conducted in the form of a Dutch auction. The auction starts at 10,000 ICX and decreases to 0 ICX over the span of 30 days. During this time, anybody is eligible to claim the expired domain.

3/ Domains can be registered for 1 to 4 years, with the fee determined by the length of the domain name. After expiration of a domain, a 30-day grace period is provided for the owner to renew without risk of losing it.

2/ Each ONS NFT consists of on-chain generated metadata using a variety of combinations, resulting in a unique NFT. On top of tying your ICON address to this domain, you will also be able to link addresses from any other connected chains through xCalls.
