I fear that if there’s ever going to be a plot at insurrection in Nigeria someday, Oct 20 will be targeted because of the way the govt has decided to treat with harmless memorial every year since. Let people remember and acknowledge their dead in peace.

This is a Call to Caution! There is an ongoing global information war and we must all be aware so we are careful on how we process the barrage of information we are exposed to everyday online and offline. Like, Rt & share with your loved ones. Stay safe!✨ https://t.co/d0DqhQheGL

I wrote my thoughts on why everyone should have @EResponseAfrica and @8medicalng numbers saved on their speed dial in Nigeria. Plus other quick first aid skills everyone should know. Feel free to share with your loved ones🤍 https://t.co/O4nMmrQk1j

(I find account locking also too protective, for now at least)

Everytime I login to X and see a number greater than 5 on that notification bell, the immediate fear that run through my mind is insane 😂 I never want to be amplified beyond a small quality audience on this app.

the logistics of making this work while living continents away is just insane.

Honestly, I would like to start a podcast that talks to regular people from like 50 years and above. Just chronicle their life experiences and what makes them tick. They don't have to be super successful or anything. Everyone has a story.

Economic power may not be as much but there's a lot there as well.

every African creative should have a French version (or translation) of everything they do. That accessibility will open up doors to a whole new world. By the way, there are more French speaking African countries than English speaking ones.
The Francophone audience is actually massiveeee! There are huge things that exist in that huge market that English speaking countries don't even know of their existence. and they're serving HUGE numbers as well.

It's interesting how the Northern caucus of Nigeria's 10th Nat. Assembly has been mostly quiet and let their Southern counterparts tear themselves apart week in, week out.

Everybody should have this emergency number saved on their phones. You never know
Another option is @8medicalng. They cover Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Ibadan, PH and Abuja. You can reach them on 08098888763 any time of the day and they’ll send the nearest ambulance and paramedics to you and take you to the nearest trauma centre.

We are Emergency Response Africa, your trusted emergency medical care provider in Nigeria. We partner with responders across Nigeria to dispatch ambulances and connect you to the right hospital fast! You can reach us on our toll-free number 080002255372, which is available 24/7
Is there a directory of hospitals that cater to emergencies anywhere? I would want to see one. Not sure I should be the one creating one, I’m not sure what the process is because it can’t be just recommendations, they have to get verified somehow. Or is there an organization

Basketball is beautiful. So many rising stars. Teams playing at an insane level. So much positives within the game. But alas! Anyway, rant over. Sigh.

...and that's what happens when actual "trained" journalists are replaced with ex-players that have no clue about the ethics of journalism or sport coverage and just show up to "gists" like they're at a bar with friends.

The NBA media coverage in the last 5 years has been bad but this year is just another level of pettiness and squabbles from adults across all the networks. If the so-called journalists are not insulting themselves, they're knocking on players unnecessarily
