Olentangy offers extraordinary programs at the elementary & middle schools: middle school foreign languages, band, choir & orchestra! Yet none are required by the state. What’s your fav memory about a middle or elementary extra-curricular experience in Olentangy?

Did you know that gifted programs, AP & honors classes are not required by the state? Olentangy Schools currently offers gifted programs in K-12, plus the district offers at least 23 AP classes and 10 honors classes at the high school level. Vote Yes to keep Olentangy excellent!

An average of 5 extra students in EVERY elementary school class and 6 extra students in EVERY middle school class are projected over the next several years if the needed 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school are not built, according to the volunteer-based Facilities Committee.

District leaders to reduce bus service to state minimum levels beginning in 8/2020 if the ballot issue fails. State minimum busing = district only needs to transport grades K-8 who reside more than 2 miles from school. HS busing doesn’t have to be provided.
