More upmarket accommodation tonight except when using the toilet where it feels like you’re sitting in an LLC airline seat. Still, ditched the tatami for a real bed. Feel like my current feeding program is similar to that of Wagyu cattle. Like a fast-track weight gain program. 🫤

I wonder WTF is going on here. A lone car in an area away from a full carpark. After watching, seems to be blessing a new car. After all the chants, claps & bows the priest came out & blessed the car. Think I might do that in Sydney to repel the road ragers!

Stayed a mountain lodge last night without electricity or internet. This morning when returning to my room from the bathroom I discovered an obi on the polished wooden hallway floor laid out like a snake. Haha, it wasn’t mine!

Checked into today accommodation only be told to stay indoors due to a bear attack. Four farmers involved, 1 dead, 3 injured & in hospital. An 80 cm bear! 😱

@SydneyCityTV If memory serves me right I think he had a spot on radio at the time he presented weather on Seven maybe as a promotion slot. I think I preferred Alan Wilkie or Mike Bailey, both gone now.

In the back blocks of Japan refreshment time before dinner after visiting the community bath house where they were playing music. As I slip into the bath Chrissy Amphlett begins singing “I Touch Myself” Never thought I be hearing the Divinyls while taking a public bath. Ah-ah-oh!
