The OSF Scholarship Program partners with the University of PNG’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Pacific Adventist University, University of Goroka, Lutheran School of Nursing, St. Barnabas School of Nursing, and Rumginae CHW Training School.

OSF has funded the purchase of medical equipment worth K100,000 for the Nipa-Kutubu District Hospital that will open in July. The district hospital will include an Out-Patients Unit, Emergency Department and Antenatal & Birth Unit.

The polio vaccination campaign in PNG drew support at the national and global level with organisations such as UNICEF, WHO and Oil Search Foundation (OSF) providing help to ensure no child is left behind.

Nine major organisations have signed onto the Bel isi PNG (peaceful PNG) initiative to date. Under the scheme, each pays a fee that provides expert advice and tools on promoting the awareness of domestic violence amongst staff.
