Sunday’s Well RFC was founded in 1906, by a group of choir & altar boys from St Vincent’s Church Northside of Cork City, from which the club derives its name.
It's with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Harrington. Gerry was part of our coaching team at both underage and senior level and will be sadly missed by everyone at SWRFC and at Dolphin RFC. Arrangements to follow, may he rest in peace.
@DolphinRFC
Please join with us all at SWRFC as we wish a "Happy Birthday" to our esteemed President Frank Moynihan..seen here with his four sons who all played for the Well down through the years: Joe, John, Michael & Francis.
Also in the photo is Bernie and one of his adored grandchildren
Congratulations to David Sweeney who took up his position as president of SWRFC tonight. Dave would like to thank Jackie Cashman for her service over the past 12 months and he looks forward to meeting as many members as possible over the coming months. Away the Well!
