Today is a good day, after 2 years of battling a liver problem, and in out of hospital 🚑,i have been given the all clear from the scan this morning, relieved and surprised! 👍😁💪
Well,i think my last game today is a message from the lord above, cudnt lose that if i tried another 100 times😂hes saying "Kev,time to retire now pal,uve had a great career just go enjoy the money uve earnt as a pro last 25 years and relax"have to agree,il do exbitions n chill👍
Absolutely devasted to hear the news that Andy Fordham has passed away,a darting legend and one of the nicest guys on the planet, thoughts are with the family at this time.. RIP Andy
Well folks,i went 112 days alcohol free,a minor miracle to those that know me well!😉i wouldnt say it was too difficult either,i just missed the pub side of things, but the time is now right for me to enjoy another beer👍so,cheers guys, have a good weekend 🍻
🎯 Annnnd home to chill from pre school Q school lol, hurdle 1 negotiated ok,on paper seems an easy task to qualify..it isnt..............thank you to everyone thats supported me last few days, apologies if i didnt get back to you straight away, tried to keep to myself for a bit 💪
Today, life has that bit more meaning for me,i spent an unplanned random 2 hours playing darts in Bar8,Rugby with a group of 10/11 Special needs/Downs syndrome guys that turned up to play, they got me adding their scores up the lot! They were chuffed, made my day👍 ta guys, good fun.
Its nothing to do with rushing into a decision just cos Qschool ends, people around me know ive been talking about it for a while now,im not unhappy,in fact the opposite,i feel a weight of expectation lifted,i will enjoy the fruits of what my ability has given me...............👍
Injured my shoulder back in November, not been able to throw for a month 🎯😢,after a few trips to Hospital and Docs, now had a steroid jab 💉,so time to recover and give Q School a proper go in 2021 as prior to injury was in good form, and previous health problems are behind me 💪
So today is day 75 of lockdown for me and ive still not been tempted into having a beer despite the great weather weve had lately🍺,ive totally surprised myself ive lasted this long! keep going lad, keep going 👍💪
Some great comments thanks, nobody can have a career at the top of the darts tree for 25 years without help,of course ability is no1 but if it wasnt for Mel Simpson my first manager and his wife Marilyn i cudnt have started the journey i thank them very much X
