The only reason Apple decided to support WebGPU is to make safari consume less gpu to have more performance available for liquid glass.
anything you see on a screen is computed. any effect will slow down your computer. stuff like this is why everything is so slow these days, we’re spending so much of our compute/memory budget on things entirely orthogonal to the task at hand.

The landing page for Jony Ive’s design firm LoveFrom is confusing. It’s just a 30-second animation of a bear mascot walking on the logo. No e-mail capture, about page, pricing or CTA button. How will clients know what the firm offers or contact Jony or know how much it costs?
