3/3 Contrary to the belief that there's limited information on #intersexasylum, my paper highlights a wealth of documentation and digital media—especially from the Global South—revealing critical issues faced by intersex asylum seekers. #queerasylum #IntersexRights.

2/3 The paper argues key documents laying the groundwork for LGBTI protections often "lack substance regarding the identities, specific issues, or concerns" of intersex asylum seekers, and this omission is frequently misinterpreted as an absence of persecution.
