In the
#TwinPeaks
script it only had Madeline being chased up the stairs.
Executives assumed this was where the scene would end in the episode.
David Lynch filmed the entire death scene without ABC knowing and then aired it without the suits checking.
Oops. 🤗
This book has never gotten the same attention as Jennifer Lynch's "Secret Diary of Laura Palmer" but there are so many interesting aspects explored within its pages.
Written by Scott Frost, this book is definitely a must own for hardcore

fans.

If you're a huge "Twin Peaks" fan and don't already own the Artisan Season 1 DVD set, you can still find it for affordable prices online.
Not only are the episodes two per disc (so the quality is great), but it's the only release thus far to include director commentaries.
Did you know that the Timberline Lodge in Oregon (where the exteriors for “The Shining” were based) has an almost exact duplicate of Agent Cooper’s room from The Great Northern that you can stay in?

Is there another fanbase that would fly to a small town from all over the world to watch a neon sign with the same two letters light up on a Monday night?

The day David Lynch surprised the owners of Laura Palmer’s house and let them know a new “Twin Peaks” was being made.
Imagine if they had said, “No”.
LOL.
@atrupar
Remember when Pompeo said there was a going to a smooth transition to a second Trump presidency... weeks after the election.
He was in on it too.
This "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" scene was shot but unfortunately could not be included in "The Missing Pieces" due to the footage being lost.
Imagine first watching this film and getting a Leland tease at The Fat Trout Trailer Park...
Regardless of flaws you may have with any of the “Twin Peaks” iterations, it’s about as perfect as a piece of mass entertainment that one could ever hope for.

Sabrina Sutherland recently posted a picture of David Lynch and his assistant director, Scott Cameron on her IG.
Looks like Scott has scene breakdowns (props, actors needed, etc.) alongside of him. 👍
Remember how we used to look at this
#FireWalkWithMe
image on the internet and daydream about what this
#TwinPeaks
scene would be like?
And then it turned out better than we could've ever imagined.
Imagine if the Doppelgänger had brought out Laura Palmer with him in the
#TwinPeaks
Season 2 finale—and then we had to think about that until The Return.
David Lynch lit the Black Lodge for the international pilot as if it was a moody room.
In Season 2, he lit it as a nightmare dreamscape.
In FWWM, Lynch went back to the “lit room” aesthetic but more vast.
For Season 3, he chose to film it brighter than any sitcom.

Wanna know something cool?
No strobe lights were used in The Red Room (aka The Black Lodge).
It was all lighting cues that would trigger other ones in order to create a ripple effect.
