Katherine Rundell & CILIP School Libraries Group cttee member Alice Legatt on Today Programme call for librarians in schools, 1.43:28. Currently Ofsted don't inspect them, DfE doesn't count them, & they're not statutory unlike public & prison libraries

Our Year 7&8 students had a wonderful morning with @KWBwrites, author of the fabulous The Doughnut Club! They loved learning how to write a killer opening to their own stories, hearing Kristina read her work aloud, & learning about what it takes to become a writer themselves 📚
