✨ It's nearly DISCO DAY! ✨ A few parents have asked how they can pay for their child to attend. We won’t be charging an entry fee as usual, but any donations sent into school on Monday or Tuesday with your child & given to their teacher will be greatly appreciated. Thank you 💜

We thoroughly enjoyed Mr Marks' quiz today on Kahoot! We managed to answer lots of general knowledge questions. 👍🏻

Today we used dual coding to learn about @BillieJeanKing. The children were amazed at her achievements. #littlepeoplebigdreams

Year 3 have had a great morning at their Sports Day, albeit a little different! However, there was plenty of concentration & perseverance. 🎾

Year 3’s hard work is now on display in the corridor for all to see! One showcasing our topic on The Tudors, the other our English text called The Tin Forest. Well done 👏 @OWPSnightingale

In PSHE, we read these stories and discussed all of the different families we have today.

And as if by magic, our stunning Tudor Roses are complete! They have done a superb job sewing these over the last few days, well done! ✅☺️

We have started our Tudor Rose sewing project this afternoon. A great deal of concentration and perseverance was shown by all the Macaws!

In English, we have started a new text. The title is still unknown! We analysed a setting description and visualised it using watercolours.

In Maths, we have been investigating vertical and horizontal lines.

This afternoon, we have practised a running stitch in preparation to sew our Tudor Roses. A lot of concentration and resilience was needed!

We've had a lovely treat afternoon, dressed in our PJs, watching a film and eating popcorn. Well done to all the Macaws for filling the jar!

As Scientists, we have set up an experiment to investigate what's happens when we take away a condition a plant needs to grow.
