Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions.

We mourn the passing on of a Raila Odinga (1945 - 2025), a distinguished Kenyan statesman. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Saddened by the passing of Prof. Kipruto Arap Sinei, former Dean, UoN School of Pharmacy. He was a wonderful person, outstanding pharmacologist, pharmacist, teacher and researcher. We will sorely miss him. May his soul rest in peace.
