Upgraded the PC again:.- MSI 5090 Suprim SOC.- Yeston 3050 6GB (acting as PPU).- Corsair 1500W PSU.- MSI Carbon X870E.- Also finally got around to tidying up the cables in the back

Good Friday, indeed. Got in a pair of Octopus Arcade Sticks by @trfightstick. These sticks are heavy duty and ultra versatile. Incredibly well made. Given the quality and compatibility, they're well worth the price. Excited to put these to use. Also love the Dreamcast art 🍥

The Scalable Video Switch by @Arthrimus came in today. I managed to order one in the first batch, but USPS lost the package. Arthrimus was great to work with through the situation. Assembling the SVS was a breeze. Now I just need to find a spare MicroSD card and configure it.

Today, I "drove" about 200 miles home in a new Tesla Model Y. There are very few moments in technology that truly wow me anymore, but having this car drive itself 99% of the way back home was an incredible sensation.

Circumcised the old NES today 🥲 It was bittersweet making those snips to allow it to reach its full potential. The @Time2Retro NES Hub BT creates some audio feedback, but isn't too noticeable during gameplay. Overall worthwhile upgrade to be able to experience expansion audio.

Quick follow up about the audio and Pocket controller issues

Special thanks to the "Nova Blasters" Discord for helping me determine the speaker issue was a dead speaker and not a wiring/connection/soldering issue.

A few more pictures of damage of the Nova Blast taken during assembly. The main component shelf was very scuffed up from the service panel being forced into it during shipping. A corner of the bar top base was bent - luckily attachments/assembly mostly straightened this out.

Unico Nova Blast Impressions

Not off to a great start. Discovered the a corner of the display bezel chipped off and the rear service panel got dislodged and twisted beyond use. I reached out to Unico support - we'll see how they respond.
