Finally got my Security+, which I'm led to believe is very prestigious. CompTIA now calls me a Secure Infrastructure specialist, whatever that means.

I'm not surprised by this. Something about him always registered as sketchy to me. But people take him seriously. Stuff like that deals real harm to history.

So, I fell down a rabbithole that basically led me to the realization Earnest Hemmingways badass reputation was entirely crafted by himself, and backed up by nothing. His historical narratives in general were questionable, and the FBI disregarded him as a questionable informant.

I must regretfully say, pea soup is not as disgusting as I thought it would be. In fact, I wish I had some more.

When Joseph Kennedy, father to John, Bobby, and Teddy, decided his daughter Rosemary was too wild, he got her a lobotomy. When Charles de Gaulle had his daughter, Anne, who had Down Syndrome, he loved and played with her constantly. In this life, be a Charles, not a Joseph.

every time i go back and play an older pokemon game i remember how much better the qol is nowadays. why was stuff like re-nicknaming pokemon or fast travelling still such a hassle until like, the switch games. why were random encounters still a thing until 2022!!!

Even if people love the service, I really don't get how people simp for steam. I don't think the lawsuit against them is justified, to clarify, because that's happening right now. But to me, this is the equivalent of celebrating and defending the honor of walmart.

ohhhh, I just realized Cairon sends off Titus with a "I hope to see you soon, brother" and then he gets killed by canon off screen. That's, Games Workshop.

Space Marine 2 main campaign done! It was fun. And the final boss fight was a major upgrade. As I was saying yesterday, I still like the structure and story of the first game more, HOWEVER I like the story they tried to tell in this one. It just really needed fleshing out.

Reading St. Ireneaus "Against Heresies", and I find it hilarious we've literally been having to argue against the number people with a bible and a corkboard for literally 2000 years.

I did still enjoy Space Marine 2, ftr. I'm just a critic. I'm hoping I'll enjoy multiplayer

Man, I just realized there were no heavy weapon segments. In 1 you did things like rip the main guns off ships to use against swarms of enemies.

The more I think on it, the more disappointing space marine 2 is. Now, there are still the side campaign missions. But man, this campaign should have been better done overall.

Ultimately, I just feel the "taking on missions from your cozy base" doesn't match the vibe of "endless marching forward to improvised objectives to save the planet". Also, the limited loadout hurts, man. Only a primary and a pistol.

It really feels like the point was more the multiplayer, and the camapaign feels like it was more an afterthought. Its complete, don't get me wrong... but it somehow feels shorter than the orginal, and the combat less varied. Which is weird, given what it tries to do.

I am very near the end of Space Marine 2. I'm pretty sure its just one small push left to beat the game. But I feel my opinion is pretty solid. I enjoyed the game. I like some of the new things (bosses/swarms) But it just has less substance as a campaign, and thats my thing.

So far, I still think Space Marine 1 has a better campaign than 2, but I am enjoying the narrative. Titus being too afraid to be his flexible self due to what it cost him in the last game, but still going against directives due to his suspicions about the situation is great.

Almost every single piece of dogmatic relationship advice given on twitter is incredibly situational, and relies entirely on your girlfriend or boyfriend being the exact people in the exact situations the person giving the advice was involved with.
