Next Friday, our Forest School will be transformed into a festive winter wonderland. As a well-deserved WELL DONE for the children’s hard work this term, we are inviting pupils to come to school in warm/waterproof clothing, ready for a day of festive fun in the Forest School 🎄

This week we lit the first candle on our Advent wreath, symbolising Hope. At OLST, we’re bringing hope to others through our charitable giving. Our Reverse Advent Calendar is filling up for @FatherHudsons 🌟Although we are a small school, @OLST_CUBB certainly has a big heart ❤️

This morning,the children’s liturgy group lit the first candle on the advent wreath, celebrating the start of a special season…a time of togetherness and hopefulness! We are lucky to have such an inclusive, thriving and community-led parish at the heart of our school community⛪️

We’re feeling festive after the Cubbington Christmas Lights Switch-On this evening! ✨🎄 The OLST choir took a starring role, serenading the crowd beautifully 🎶 We even had our own OLST mascot, “Santa Paws”! 🐶🎅

Today, our Pupil Principal, Freya appointed Finlay as her Deputy Head before getting straight to work… greeting everyone at the gates, meetings, visiting classrooms, and even taking on break and lunch duty. The day finished with a brilliant assembly! Well done, Freya and Finlay!

We’re excited to be taking part in @UKParliament Week as we explore democracy in action. Our school has transformed into a polling station, and pupils are voting to elect our Pupil Principal! We can’t wait to share the election results with you!!

Today we gathered for a moving Service of Remembrance. Pupils,staff and governors laid wreaths in honour of all who have given their lives in conflict. At 11am,we joined the nation in a two-minute silence, praying for peace in our world and in our hearts. “We will remember them.”
