Frank was a giant of a man. He made the world of sport special for young people. OLSPCK was enriched by his presence. He will roar the kids on from a terrace in a better place. RIP
@OLSPCKPE
So so sad to hear this awful news! Have known Frank since Rathmore & our kids went to school together. His wife was my midwife. I'm devastated for Tara & the kids. God bless them. RIP Frank 😥
@OLSPCKPE
Our thoughts and prayers are with Frankie’s family, friends and colleagues. He was an excellent teacher who provided inspiration and support to many of our PGCE PE students. May he rest in peace.
@OLSPCKPE
Our thoughts and prayers are with Frankie’s family and yourselves at this sad time. Frankie was a great friend to us in the Red High. We enjoyed meeting up for sporting fixtures and catching up on all the craic afterwards. He will be sorely missed by his friends far and wide 🙏
@OLSPCKPE
Really can't tell you how sad I am to read this. What an incredible man. A gent. One of the most conscientious and committed servants to youth sports that I've ever come across
He'll be sadly missed
@OLSPCKPE
One of life’s truly unique characters. Funny, charming, self-deprecating, always positive and enthusiastic. Brilliant stories from our time with Antrim but I’ll remember Frankie most for his utter devotion to the pupils in his care. What a legacy; what a mentor; what a man.
@OLSPCKPE
Really sorry to hear this very sad news. The very best of wishes to all his family and friends, and solidarity and strength to colleagues at Our Lady and St. Pats
@OLSPCKPE
I had so much respect for Mr Wilson. Taught me in my final two years at OLSPCK and treated us all with respect which we reciprocated. Was influential in getting rugby started there, allowing myself and others to play at the Campbells 7s and love that it’s still going. RIP.
@OLSPCKPE
Frankie was a true competitor on the pitch, but most of all, he was an absolute Gentleman of it. No one will ever have a bad word to say about Frankie. God bless you Frankie 🙏
@OLSPCKPE
Absolutely devastating news. Frankie was a fantastic person in every way. He loved teaching and helping all the kids. Loved playing against your school and meeting up with him - the craic was always mighty. A real loss. Such a genuine fella 🙏
@OLSPCKPE
Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Frankie. You coached and developed many of our players both in terms of sport but also as young adults, which will never be forgotten!!
