Throughout November we reflect on the virtue of justice: justice in our lives, in our communities, and all around the world. We take opportunities this month to reflect on the justice that is needed to heal our beautiful, yet wounded planet.

This week is Treaties Recognition Week. We recognize Treaty Week as part of an ongoing journey of healing and reconciliation walked together by Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. We celebrate the contributions of Indigenous Peoples to Canada.

A special visit from our superintendent, Mr. Paonessa, who gave our executive Student Council members a token of his appreciation for all of their hard work in organizing the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty at our school on Oct. 17. #youngleaders @YCDSB @paonesl
