Oklahoma ranks #1 in fast processing of Medicaid applications. @ok_hca is consistently a top performer in Medicaid program administration.

CMS just released new data on state processing times of Medicaid applications for families. The 2 slowest states by far (of 47 reporting) are Arkansas and Missouri where the vast majority of “MAGI” applications take more than 45 days. Yikes.

"Patients admitted to hospitals with fewer than 50 ICU beds had a more than three-fold higher risk of death than those admitted to hospitals with at least 100 ICU beds." But Oklahoma won't act until 95% of the state's beds are full.

New study on distribution of the $50B in CARES Act money shows that hospitals with the highest share of revenue from private insurance got more than twice as much money per hospital bed as hospitals with the lowest share of private insurance revenue.
