Son: “Why is my sister named Rose?”
Me: “Because your mother loves roses.”
Son: “Wow dad, thanks!”
Me: “No problem, Final 3:39 of Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals on YouTube”
Okay, I’ve talked myself into this.
Game 5 is in Cleveland and the Cavs should win.
Game 6 is going to be tough, but you’d carry a little momentum from Game 5.
Game 7: It’s in Cleveland, anything can happen.
Cavs in 7.
Prior to tip-off of the biggest Cavs game in 4 years, I can’t help but think about how much Fred McLeod would love calling this team. He was one of a kind
I’m feeling really sad tonight. About a month ago, my dad unexpectedly died. He was the person who got me into sports and it feels so weird not calling or texting him about Cavs games anymore. But I’m so happy we have a fun community here because it’s therapeutic.
The Deshaun Watson thing really broke my fandom man. This is the second year in a row that I’m not even excited. I tried to force myself to get excited last year and I just can’t. It’s sad.
The 5-man lineup (100+ minutes played) with the best Net Rating since January 1 is:
• Donovan Mitchell
• Jarrett Allen
• Max Strus
• Dean Wade
• Isaac Okoro
Second place isn’t even close.
I usually talk about sports, but I can’t get this shit out of my head. It bothers me to no end that we keep hearing about Chinese balloons and the like while our brothers and sisters in East Palestine had *potentially* one of the biggest environmental disasters in recent memory
I can’t believe I watch this team come together over 82 games, great performance after great performance, just to completely collapse when it matters. Darius disappears in Game 3. Spida disappears in Game 4. Who even knows about Jarrett. It’s all just unbelievably disappointing.
