Drivers MUST stop when a school bus is dropping off or picking up students. School bus drivers who see someone run the stop sign will report the vehicle’s license plate number and incident location to law enforcement, which could lead to criminal charges. #STOPmeansSTO

In a crash, your body keeps moving even if the vehicle stops. If you’re not buckled up, you could be thrown into another passenger and cause serious injuries. Don’t become a projectile – wear your seatbelt every time. More resources at

School is back in session! It’s crucial that everyone commits to helping school bus riders get to and from their destinations safely each day. Bus safety isn’t just the responsibility of the bus driver - other drivers, parents, and students all have a role to play.
