Todd Beamer was aboard Flight 93 which was hijacked as part of the September 11 attacks in 2001. He was one of the passengers who tried to reclaim the aircraft from the hijackers. Todd's actions express the greatness that resides in all of us. Let's Roll!

This video is from the dash cam of an FCSO patrol cruiser taken this morning @ approx. 12:30 a.m. Thankfully,no one was injured,but the driver was arrested on OVI & other traffic charges.
It is another example of why we cannot emphasize more clearly: If you drink, don't drive!
On December 2nd @ 6:18 am, Deputy William Ball, who is a Crisis Intervention Tactics trained deputy, saved the life of a suicidal man who attempted to jump from Georgesville Rd onto I-270.
Complete story here
Beginning pay for our deputies is $24.17 hr/$59,273.69 annually. After 3 years $40.46 hr/$84,156.80 annually. And after 10 years $42.48 hr/$88, 358.40 annually. We are the largest Sheriff's Office in Ohio and have a lot of opportunities for advancement. Be a part of our team!
Deputy Jacob Heaberlin drove his cruiser onto the ice at the
@BlueJacketsNHL
game last night. Jacob was honored for his bravery for an incident earlier this year where he was shot in his abdomen, just below his protective vest, after he pulled over a suspect who opened fire.
We receive absolutely no money for being on
@OfficialLivePD
. The payoff for us is transparency with those we serve, strengthened relationships w/ our community and showcasing the great work of our deputies.
Today we remember Officers Morelli & Joering. Their sacrifice & bravery will never be forgotten. Keep their families & the Westerville PD in your thoughts today.
“Now, that’s a beautiful dog!” said every dog lover reading this tweet! Please wish K9 Turbo a happy birthday this month! He is a German Shepherd/Malinios mix trained in building searches and evidence recovery, but he specializes in narcotics detection. Good boy, Turbo.

A heartbreaking goodbye. The FCSO must take a moment to say pay tribute to K9 Gordon who served faithfully from 2007-2013 as a dual purpose narcotics canine. He was as beautiful as he was successful in keeping the community a little safer for everyone. We will miss you.
K9 Will is retiring after over 8 years of service with the FCSO. As a team, Sgt. Valentine and Will assisted multiple agencies in narcotics detection as well as tracks, article searches and building searches. The team was also featured on Live PD. Will is going to be missed!
Sheriff Baldwin is saddened to announce that one of our deputies passed away this week after succumbing to his battle with cancer. Deputy Randall Hoar began his journey with the FCSO on June 28, 1999, after retiring from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer.
We dedicate tonight's show to fellow Ohio Deputy Sheriff, Bill Brewer, who gave his life this week protecting his community. Our thoughts & prayers are with the
@clermontsheriff
during this difficult time.

It was with heavy hearts that the FCSO provided an escort for Deputy Angela Kane. She was on her way to work Friday when she was killed in a vehicle crash. Sheriff Dallas Baldwin thanks everyone for the outpouring of support. Arrangements for services have not been finalized.
Lots and lots of questions about our K9's. We have 15 total. 8 patrol (3 explosive/5 narcotics), 3 Special Investigations (2 narcotics/1 electronics) & 4 Therapy K9's.

Sad news to share. The FCSO unexpectedly lost K9 Vando Monday evening following a medical emergency. He served as a dual purpose explosive detection/patrol K9 and was a faithful partner to Sgt. Aaron Heflin since 2013. No words for how much we will miss you, buddy.
On last night's traffic stop w/ possible heroin... our deputies do not field test suspected heroin due to the danger of Fentanyl exposure. Their safety is our top priority. All suspected heroin is sent to a lab for testing. Charges are filed at a later date once results are rec'd
On behalf of Sheriff Baldwin & the FCSO, we offer our condolences to
@PascoSheriff
Nocco & his staff on the loss of Deputy April Rodriguez. We dedicate tonight's show to you April.

We were advised tonight of two escaped prisoners from Ky traveling through our county. An FCSO K9 observed them and a pursuit ensued into Ashland County where a foot pursuit followed. Our deputies have taken Paul Napier into custody. One suspect still at large.
‘Light Columbus Blue’...mission accomplished. Now through May 15, please change your exterior lights to blue to support law enforcement. Sleep well, Franklin County. We’ve got your back.

Sgt. Valentine has been with us for 13 years. He is a former Marine Sergeant where he served as a Machine Gunner during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
The FCSO is proud of Deputy Kent Romine who administered first aid after discovering a male victim bleeding profusely from a stab wound to the arm. The attack happened on Thornville Lane in Pleasant Township. The deputy’s quick thinking likely saved the man’s life. Good job!
“A relative has confirmed that Farrah Turner, one of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office deputies injured in a mass shooting on Oct. 3, died Monday evening.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY K9 TURBO!
Help us wish Turbo a happy 4th birthday today. He's been a Deputy Sheriff for two years and has done an excellent job catching bad guys and getting drugs off our streets to make Franklin County a safer place!
