In light of rising heat temperatures across Trinidad and Tobago, here are some helpful tips to beat the heat.
Remember that extreme heat can be dangerous, leading to heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion or heatstroke.
This morning, the ODPM dispatched additional relief supplies to Tobago via the Cabo Star, which will be sailing this afternoon. Items include Trash Pumps, rope of various sizes, cleaning buckets, coolers, raincoats and batteries.

As we continue to experience Adverse Weather conditions, affected persons can contact the DMU of their Municipal Corporation or TEMA at 211. Here are the Toll-Free 24/7 Hotline numbers of the DMUs in the case of any emergency such as landslide, flooding or fallen trees.
In light of the current adverse weather alert, please make the necessary arrangements to protect your loved ones and property:
