At today's protest outside the Cherry Orchard Hospital, advocating for the residents and their families. It is indeed distressing when major decisions like moving residents to a private nursing home are made without proper consultation or discussion with the affected parties.
Today I had the opportunity to attend a full-day UNHCR's consultation Workshop resubmission on the National Integration Strategy at Sandymount Hotel, Dublin 4,and actively participating in discussions on challenges faced by migrants in integrating into Irish society.
We are ready for change.

A vulture fund has been granted permission to purchase 85% of the houses at Belcamp Manor in Dublin.The Government is responsible for this happening. This is not the first time this has occurred.
Immediate action is needed to prevent these funds from purchasing family homes.
Housing is Sinn Féin's number one priority. We will build affordable homes and cut rents.

Last Sunday I had the privilege to get my book signed by Francis Brennan Where I had the opportunity to chat with him about his latest book. He covers subjects like staying active in retirement and preserving one's physical and mental health. "Age is just a number" is out today.
Book launch of I Can, I Will, I Did-Cherry Orchard to the Big Apple. An excellent publication of short stories and illustrations by the women of Cherry Orchard. This work was achieved in collaboration with local women from St. Ultans School and Dublin City Council.
