Nursery had an amazing time during their end of year school trip at @FarmerTedsFarm. We petted animals, watched a sheep show and spent some time in the play areas. Our favourite part was the tractor ride where we saw lots of dinosaurs! 🐑🦙🛝🦖 #RPEnrichment

For our @SSCCTY meeting this week, we discussed what we are looking forward to in the next academic year. Nursery voted for school trips, and others said “I can’t wait for Miss Murphy to be my teacher”.

Today Nursery had their last Forest School session with @Littlefoothq. They built chairs with wood and logs, found mini beasts and made shapes with the ropes. The favourite part was creating wishing sticks and playing games with Joe. 🌳🐞#RPEnrichment

This week in Literacy we completed our “Big Draw”. Nursery designed their own flower garden, they included seeds, stems and flowers from our vocabulary. As well as Eddie, Lily and a shed with tools. 🌱🌸🛠️ #RPEnglish

Nursery had an amazing afternoon in the sun with their friends and grown ups! They explored lots of different areas and took part in lots of different games. ☀️🚲🪏 @OPAL_CIC #RPEnrichment

EYFS Scooter Club 🛴 - This week we continued to develop our listening skills by staying on the scooter track. We also took part is lots of races with our friends. #RPEnrichment @RecRobyPark

Swimming 🏊 - Nursery had their final session this week. We practiced everything we have been learning over the past few weeks. We then played lots of games to continue building our confidence in the water. #RPEnrichment #RPPE

Today we had a special visit from @teach_rex who brought along Jam, baby Jam and other friends. We had lots of fun playing games with Jam and holding the baby dinosaurs. Our favourite part was when Jam tickled Miss Tomes. 🤣🦖#RPEnrichment

Picture News - This week we discussed what boats and ships are seen at sea. Nursery have shared the boats and ships they have seen at sea. We then wrote a message to Peter Bear telling him how we will save him from his shipwreck. ⛵️🚤🚢@HelpPicture #RPPSHE

This week in Literacy we looked at the steps you need to follow in order to plant a flower. Nursery then each had a turn of following the steps and planting their own flowers. We are so excited to see how the life cycle of a plant develops over the next few weeks! 🌱🌸 #RPEnglish

Scooter Club 🛴 - This week we learnt how to stay in control of our scooters. We did this by taking part in a weaving game. We had to weave in and out of the cones but stay in control of our scooters, we are very proud of ourselves! 👏🏻 @RecRobyPark #RPEnrichment

Swimming 🏊 - Today Nursery learnt some techniques. The techniques were Starfish’ to support them with swimming backwards and ‘Ice cream scoop’ to support with swimming forwards. To end the session they enjoyed games and free play to support with confidence. #RPEnrichment #RPPE

Flower Bottle Homework - Last week Nursery were set the challenge to create an observational flower bottle. They could put anything from their garden in their bottle. Today we discussed the colours we could see and the different parts of the flowers. 🪴🌼🌱🌸 #RPHomelearning
