With everything, there is nuance. I have 4 kids 5 and younger… my kids have had screens a handful of times at restaurants… sometimes we just have to survive the event. But excessive screen time is a problem for children and should not be a first line option.

It's very easy to want old people to stay in a chair all day to reduce their fall risk. That is the opposite of what they should do. Old people lose muscle mass and fitness a lot quicker than young people. They need to exercise more than any other demographic.
