I was pretty impressed with what I saw from @Official_STFC last night in the @VertuTrophy win against @ReadingFC . Palmer’s hold up play was excellent and Butterworth drove forward well in midfield. We look to have some good squad depth which bodes well for the season #stfc.

A timely reminder today in the WCCL that I was years ahead of my time bringing a lunch box to cricket. If any clubs would like to do a tea this year I’m sure I can squeeze in a tea as well as the packed lunch though 🏏✍️.

She would have a running bet with my Uncle. If Swindon won she would give him 50p, if they lost he gave her 50p. I guess she liked winning too because I expect she was in profit. All good anecdotes. Never forgotten (3/3).

We would play quoits, badminton, bat and ball and the card game Uno. I would always keep the score, of course. I guess I developed my love for numbers and counting from this. I always wanted to win! (2/3).

Tomorrow is two years since my Grandmother’s passing. I miss her very much. She taught me to tell the time and we would often go on a walk to Manton and back so I think I developed a love of walking from an early age. It’s the little things you remember (1/3).

April 1st and 12 league matches unbeaten at home for @Official_STFC , the last defeat the 3-2 reverse against @MorecambeFC . If someone had said that wet November day we’d go on this run you’d have questioned whether it was April Fools Day! #stfc.

I think there are many problems at Swindon but I’m not sure that the season ticket prices are too bad working out at £18.30 per match. If you did most alternative activities on a Saturday I’m sure they would be that price and more #stfc.

So Swindon have drawn 4 consecutive league matches for the first time since April 2019. Hopefully the league title follows next season like it did last time. Keep the faith #stfc.
