honestly Sonic Gens is a top 3 game oat for me now its so addicting.

walk up to anybody on the street and if they say they like video games they're guaranteed to have played like Sonic 1 or Mario 1 or Pac Man or anything else in the franchises.

big 3 of gaming is weird because you cant make one without people going "why is ___ there" with the only guaranteed one being Mario, onto subjective I believe Sonic and Pac Man are good picks with Sonic being the first mascot to actually challenge Mario and Pac Man being Pac Man.

chapter 5 is a jungle island you have to get to by convincing someone you meet at the hub world to bring you to it and then you arrive near a village then you have to go into the jungle and get inside a dungeon esque area to find the star. I'm describing both PM64 and TTYD btw.

I think I've realised why I dislike the Peach segments in TTYD. Its because theres almost no gameplay in them compared to 64's peach segments, TTYD's is mostly just text boxes.

and Chapter 4 is done. Pretty good chapter, high A tier but now that im halfway done with TTYD I dont think this game is gonna be that good in the last chapters because i literally forgot what the hell goes on in 5, 7 and 8 and I only remember 6 because it was my least favorite

the item balancing is freaky in crossworld.

Super Sonic used to be a reward and now its just a necessity.

and now they ran into a wall with Frontiers and they made a super form above regular Super Sonic and it trivialises the regular Super form even more than it already was.

is it weird to say that Super Sonic isnt cool anymore because every normal final boss in Sonic has him go super as opposed to like 3&K and the Adventure games where you unlocked a secret Super Sonic fight after like doing all the stories or collecting the Emeralds.
