Went to the amarillo event yesterday on a whim to show my support and see how their doing, their scene is in good hands. Seeing that drive to have events in their city was on full display and I cant wait to see where the future takes them. I look forward to going to another soon

Tokon was pretty fun, I do wish I could have played Avatar instead. It looks exactly the reason why I could just boot up melty blood or blazblue and just have fun interacting in it. Hope Avatar takes off, I really want to see whats possible in that

I've legit have seen more people abandon a game having an 0-5 record in Swiss then having 0-2 in DE at the local. Encourage them to run sets outside of bracket more. Thats what gets people to stay is knowing they could potentially get better and having fun.
Unpopular opinion, every local that's like 40 people or less should run a swiss format into top 8 playoffs, instead of a double elimination bracket. Swiss brackets ensures that every player, whether 0-2'ers or 6-2'ers gets to play the same number of sets. Would be way more fun.

Thats a wrap on LBK Locals in 2025! Still have Noisemaker and WTX 3D Brawl coming up but this is the final week for events this year. So grateful for everything this year and from here on out. But for now, its time to rest, take the time to reflect, and prepare for next year.
