Using maternal separation model in rodents, @pRATik12 is studying how early life adversity perturbs mitostasis and influences Inflammaging.

@analkumar2 is using in-silico conductance-based models of CA1 pyramidal neurons to uncover the mechanisms behind Depolarization Baseline, an often overlooked electrophysiological feature. Both morphology and potassium channel kinetics play crucial roles among other factors.

@BartikaGhoshal discussed how Extracellular Vesicles are dextrous agents which can be used for drug delivery. I am trying to utilize these vesicles to deliver an imaging molecule to immune cells. This will help in studying immune cell dynamics in a tumour microenvironment.

@SNIGDHAROYB has a self- powered wound dressing which can harvest the mechanical energy from walking or running to generate electrical energy to regulate macrophages for anti- inflammatory effect.

Sahana’s flash talk focused on the multifaceted activity phytomolecule functionalized nanoparticles against multidrug resistant Uropathogenic E. coli and exploring the nanocomposite as a possible therapeutic option.

@ArohiSrivastava is on a green mission to tackle root-knot nematodes-the sneaky crop destroyers #CropProtection #Biocontrol @RVenksR Dr. Venkatesh Ravula spoke about drug development for pesticide poisoning through systemic clearance by on-site chemical degradation.

Mansi (@labyrinthine_27) is studying how metabolism guides stem cell fates. How do metabolic enzymes affect the proteome and transcriptome in addition to the metabolome? Turns out, these enzymes are tough bosses, keeping the epigenome effectively silent in embryonic stem cells.

@AnkitaC29178920 told us about "Revealing the Effects of Freeze-Thaw Cycles on the Generation of Single-Cell gene expression data- a cautionary note for study design."

#NPDS2023 also featured a flash talk competition, where we got to hear some exciting science from our selected participants ! @TSB_Ashoka @yadukrishprem spoke about "The role of anthocyanin pigments in developing seedlings and the genetic control of their accumulation".
