We’re in a very long “weeding out” period. The people that commit themselves to this craft will see consistent and steady growth, it’s an inevitability. The people that are looking for a quick rise have a smaller target to hit, and a larger chance of being unable to sustain it.

Expression through art is a life long process. There’s so much to learn about ourselves through discipline and practice. Not just as musicians but as people. It’s a shame that we’ve commodified music to the point where that time isn’t considered “valuable”.

-Music education is removed from Public School. -The biggest Musical Artists uphold the facade of this being an extremely lucrative industry (it isn’t). -The roadmap to that life is sold to us as “constantly putting out songs”. Practice no longer has room to exist.
Deleted the OP. But all I am going to say is ART isn’t supposed to be EASY. You will have to learn & fail & apply & practice constantly, until you’re literally dead. Idk but if you not ready to dedicate TIME, stop blaming the “industry”. you’re just lazy & that’s fine too lol.
