As an alum, this feels stupid and a step backward. First it was removing ceiling fans to avoid suicides, now it’s 50-hour attendance rules. Something is seriously off. Learning thrives on curiosity, not clocking hours.

What is loss aversion technique? Humans feel the pain of losing something roughly twice as strongly as the pleasure of gaining something similar. Losing ₹100 hurts more than gaining ₹100 feels good. A psychological principle from behavioral economics (Kahneman & Tversky).
