I also think the OG is paced really well despite being so old, it feels really good. and ofc this isn't shading the remakes at all, theres a lot i love about the remakes that just couldn't exist in the OG and vise versa. I feel to me, at least right now, they're pretty equal

man I love the FF7 remakes but I'm honestly enjoying playing the OG for the first time way more than i thought I would. I feel that because it's not focused as much on realism, it has a lot of humor the remakes couldn't keep in and im really liking that.
